Not getting the earth totem is pretty inconsequential, but getting the fire totem to use Searing Totem is more noticeable, depending on how twinked your gear is. My Shaman is leather/inscription so that I can make all my own crafted gear and upgrades, and then I have an alt with enchanting because that is way easier and cheaper to do yourself.
